The optionally available Motor Slip Regulation (MSR) works in the opposite direction of the MTC. If due to quick downshifts or abrupt throttle chopping the engine drag torque is too high the ride-by-wire system opens the throttle exactly as much as is needed to prevent the rear wheel from drifting. With the help of MSC this system is also lean-angle sensitive. Safety first but the pleasure that comes with it is always a very close second at KTM.

• High-end electronics detect emergency braking based on speed and deceleration values
• If emergency braking is detected the brake light flashes until the brake is released
• A flashing light is noticed more quickly that`s a big gain in safety

• Allows smooth clutchless up and down shifting with a load
• This function adapts to your riding style and reacts accordingly
• Shifting is fast and crisp when you re riding at speed smooth and soft when you re going more slowly

• Rally ride mode
• Traction control spin adjuster (9-stage)
• Adjustment of the throttle response

• Prevents the motorcycle from rolling backwards unintentionally
• The system determines whether the motorcycle is on a slope and at a standstill
• Brakes continue to be applied automatically until you actually start riding

• The motor slip regulation (MSR) works counter to the motorcycle traction control (MTC)
• If the motor slip regulation is too high due to rapid downshifting or abrupt throttle reduction the Ride-by-Wire system opens the throttle valve exactly enough to prevent the rear wheel from drifting away
• Thanks to MSC support this system also works depending on the cornering angle
