This is how the factory riders start! The factory start is mounted directly on the fork. Before the start the fork is dipped and fixed in the desired position to shift the center of gravity forwards. This to a large extent prevents the front wheel from lifting at the start thus providing greater traction and perhaps securing you the odd holeshot or two. The first time the fork dips the fixing is slackened and the fork released automatically. With additional fork protector reinforcement for more stable attachment to the fork stub.
This absolutely high-end shock absorber is an exact copy of the shock used on the KTM machines in the Offroad World Championships. This SXS shock absorber offers all the external set-up options:

The SXS shock absorber consists entirely of parts with a high-finish surface such as a titanium nitride-coated piston rod and hard anodized 7075 aluminum components. The SXS product can be taken completely apart serviced and optimally adjusted to the riders individual needs. The chassis functions best when an SXS factory forks are installed.
